Our mission is simple:
To be a loving community that changes our world.
We talk about this every week. It’s part of our DNA as a church.
This is our calling, and we are living it.
Our vision:
We see this mission happening in three core areas.
- Renewed by God’s Love. This is the first and fundamental part of our vision. God’s love changes us. When God’s love soaks deeply into our hearts and souls, we become new people. We become able to love God, to love others, and even to love ourselves.
- Multicultural Community. In some ways, we don’t have much choice about this. On any given Sunday, we may be gathered from ten different countries. However, we want to embrace our differences as God brings us together through Christ. We ask all of our members to go out of their way to show love to people of other cultures.
- Global Change through Local Action. We want to change the world, but we can’t do it all at once. We’re starting here in Cheonan (where we serve orphans and migrant workers) and in Bangladesh (where we are helping to build a village for orphans and widows).
